29 декабря 2013 года казаки станицы Благовещенская совместно с казаками станицы Сергиевская приняли участие в охране крестного хода посвященному закладке нового храма в честь цесаревича Алексия в Знаменке. В закладке учавствовал Епископ петергофский Амвросий, который выступил с проповедью после чина закладки.
